Commonly specified for air conditioning and HVAC systems to improve thermal inertia, our chilled-water buffer vessels provide stable, efficient system performance. Available in mild steel or galvanised steel, the range covers capacities from 100 to 5,000 litres.

Mibec supplies both vertical and horizontal tanks to suit site constraints. All chilled water buffer vessels can be internally and externally galvanised to EN 1179, are pressure rated to 6 bar, and fully comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

Each vessel is supplied with a minimum 30mm hard foam insulation jacket to reduce energy losses, along with four connection tappings and two instrument pockets as standard. Insulation is available in either soft or hard-cased finishes, depending on project requirements.
